Apple’s AirPods made more money than Spotify, Twitter, Snapchat, and Shopify combined.
This is a superb example of product excellence (and yet again, from Apple) where a single product revenue has surpassed that of some of the largest tech companies. An ancillary product generating such revenues is unprecedented.
So whenever we think of providing customers ‘more variety, more options’, it’s worth remembering the counter-intuitive example of these magnificent Apple products.
